“Tahooo!” is inspired by the Lady Justice statue, wherein the blindfold and scales tell us that law is fair, and impartial regardless of wealth, power, an/or socioeconomic status in life. And that everyone has the right to a fair trial.
In this case, the taho vendor is an allegory of the working class, deceived to believe that they live in a just, equal, and equitable society.
The blindfold is a symbol of the deception or the ignorance of the working class to the reality happening around him, and the scales (or the taho containers) are burdens that he has to carry everyday.
This leaves us with a question: "Ang hustisya ba ay pantay pa, o patay na?"
